this work was based around the concept of the pride of the Cornish people.

The Cornish flag supposedly represents this pride, but I question whether the flag has been taken over to represent the tourism that is now the main source of income for most Cornish people.

Waiting for Emmet

Continuing the theme of Cornish identity and tourism, this project explored popular tourist sites and parks during the winter season.

​

The sites seemed to be merely waiting for the tourists to return. They seemed to have a life, but in stasis.



"Emmet" is the term used by Cornish people for tourists.
